XpoCulture is a program about how we in an easier way can understand, handle and negotiate with people from other cultures.

Industrial Research and Development
The final phase of development of XpoCulture will be in cooperation with Gjøvik Science Park, with partners from Norway and abroad, like international companies, municipality with many immigrants, university college and university, secondary school, and international organisation.
The Research and Development project will include interviews from several thousands of people from upto 120 cultures, who will answer a questionnare about their original culture and cultural encounters, in addition they will test the final database on internet and mobile, and the final pedagogic and interactive elearningprogram with certificate, by giving feedback on what is good and bad.
The mobile-function will be developed via the Research and Development project, which also will be tested of the participants.

The pilot-program are financial supported
from Abb, Federation of Norwegian Industries, Jebsens Shipping, Heidelberg Cement, GE Healthcare Ltd, Aker Kværner, Telenor, British Petroleum Norway, Oslo Conservative Party, Norske Skog, ConocoPhillips, Norwegian Labour Party, Norwegian School of Management, Odfjell Shipping,The Norwegian High School of Economics and Business Adm., The Norwegian Armed Forces, Ikea and indirectly by European Union Leonardo project, Inkas Ltd, Innovation Norway, Statoil, Norwegian Church Abroad etc

The final program
The final program will consist of a database with over 70 cultures (upto 120 cultures), an extensive pedagogic elearning-program with a certificate, and a mobile-function.
The program will have functions like "My page", "Compare Countries" and "Recommended Route".

The aim of the program is to be a practical daily tool, where the user effectively can get information about how people from other cultures handle, think, feel and behave in different situations.

XpoCulture will firstly be in Norwegian and English languages, and will be guaranteed by specialists in sociology and social anthropology.

The program is based on the concept: ”Cultural Dimensions” by professor Geert Hofstede
.

A unique product worldwide
XpoCulture is a unique product worldwide; there are no other experience-base about practical cultural knowledge so widely defined for a target group 14 years onwards.

International organisations etc participate in the Reseach and Development project of the final program, because there is no other program or tool today being an effectice, practical daily tool on how to handle people from other cultures in different situations.

The knowledge in the final program of XpoCulture, that means the average of the different cultural mindsets worldwide, can reduce human suffering and mistakes, and can save societies, companies and organisations for huge amount of money.
